The Walnut Word of the Day comes from 2 Timothy 4:17: “But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.” 

Paul lived on a mission to spread the good news about Jesus. The enemies of God caused Paul a lot of harm and hardship, but they could not stop what God was doing through his life, his faith, and his relationship with Almighty God. Without Jesus, we live in separation from God. When a sinner turns from sinful dependence on the things of this world to Savior dependence on the things of God, the separation has ended. 

God is standing beside the one who has trusted in Christ. Live on mission for God and know that God is standing with you. God will strengthen you, God will rescue you, and God will fully empower you to proclaim His message and fulfill the ministry He has given to you.
